As part of your service, we work with your doctors and insurance to renew your prescriptions before you need them.
How we refill
About six weeks before your medication runs out of refills, we reach out to your doctor to get a new prescription. Once we get the prescription, we'll check with your insurance and add it right into your next order without any work from you.
We might ask for help
There will be times when your doctor needs more information before renewing a prescription. For example, they may want you to get lab work or stop by for an office visit. When this happens, we'll email you and — if you've opted for text message communications — send you a text to ask for your help.
Occasionally, we might have trouble reaching your doctor, in which case, we'll email and text you for help. You'll also receive a service alert in your online account.
Stay up to date
It’s a good idea to add hello@pillpack.com to your email address book, so our updates reach your inbox. And you can opt into text message communications anytime through your online account:
- Select 'Account settings' from the top right corner of the screen
- Within the 'Account' page, select 'Contact Preferences'
- You'll see an option to turn text messages on or off
If you ever have questions about the status of a prescription, please don't hesitate to contact us. We're happy to help.
